certified tv junkie

finally, something to write about. since ninang and ninong left for the States 3 days ago (and some days when they were still here), i haven't been going out (except friday night - went out with my siblings and cousins to a comedy bar) for two reasons. one, for lack of reason to go out and two, for lack of funds. (maybe, the latter is the more appropriate reason. hehe!) anyhow, since i haven't been going out of the house (and sometimes the room), my companions include my cellphone, the internet, and the tv. (i told you i'm an introvert!)

i can't recall spending too much time in front of the tv than now. or maybe i did when i was a kid. just so happens that i have been "depriving" myself of tv during school days. (READ: forced deprivation, i.e. no tv set in the apartment in makati) i seem to have memorized the schedule of shows on tv and have some sort of schedule of what to watch on a certain day. haha! for one reason or another, i don't seem to get bored at this lifestyle. at least for now. these days, watching tv is of utmost importance in my life. (probably, more important than the national economy. hahaha!)

then suddenly, mikee cojuanco's ad is aired. it says... children who watch a lot of tv lose precious quality time with their families. it also makes children pale because they are not exposed to sunlight as a result of staying inside their rooms. it is also not good for the eyes because the eyes become tired after some time; thus, resulting to poor eyesight.

hmm... these "adverse" effects sound rather familiar. they can also apply to law school. haha! go figure. Ü

Comments:
