unwinding on a sunday
i literally did nothing too productive the entire day. (unless one would consider staring at the tv and getting my sunday dose of variety shows and showbiz news as productive) i was just too tired to even open my school bag after going through "3 weeks" of midterms. due to rescheduled exams and cancelled class/exam days due to heavy rains that hit the metro the past weeks, my midterms were spread to 3 weeks. probably the "longest" exam week i've ever had in my life.
worst part is, i had an exam friday night from 7-9pm (which was extended until 9:30pm) then i had to prepare for another one on saturday at 9am (which, by the way, was a 3-hour exam). while, yes, i could have or should have studied early on (which i actually did to a certain extent), i had to go on "breaks" (due to peer pressure or sometimes the "call" to procrastinate) to watch a movie, to drink, or just to talk with friends. after all, i can't go on memorizing stuff days or weeks ahead because i would have completely forgetten everything when exam time comes. anyhow, i ended up getting around 2 hours of sleep in between those 2 exams. this is way, way below my normal sleeping hours of 7-9 hours (on the average). so after the exam at 12nn, i had to do some barops chores. then because of the "need to go out" after the grueling 3 weeks, i went on a night out with friends at embassy. (thanks shynne! Ü)
what results? a brain that refuses to do anything pangmatalino (as flory would put it) Ü

it's bar season starting this weekend. despite the thought of tiring weekends, i'm excited to do barops. hehe! to my all my friends, esp. my ahrc batchmates who will be taking the bar (flory, mon, anna, jehan, lovely, ann), god bless and we're here to support you all the way! Ü
product of watching tv the whole day... there's a 2nd installment to the tribute album for the apo hiking society. same concept as the 1st one. a line in the song "salawikain" caught my attention. it says, "pag ikaw ay pinanganak na pangit, 'wag ka nang masungit... bawal magsungit ang pangit..." it really reminded me of some people. i ended up laughing my heart out :p (tama naman diba? para at least merong redeeming value. haha!) Ü
