insult or whatever... you judge
just when you feel you're going to get called for recitation, the god (or goddess) of fate would be able to read your mind and before you know it, your professor who looks like popeye would call, "QUAN!"
so i stood up and minus the "real" questions he asked me, here are some of the seemingly insulting remarks (or whatever)...
asking what inflation meant. before i could utter a word...
popeye: what was you undergrad?
me: sir, development studies and legal management
popeye: useless. who's an eco major here?
afterthought: hellurh! i know what that means too, u know?!?! i studied economics also for cryong out loud!

after marge answered the inflation question...
popeye: so mr. development studies... oh, what's development studies? i mean what do you study there or what do you develop?
me: umm... sir, community development... (and again, before i could finish)
popeye: ah, social work.
me: sir, it's multidisciplinary (yet again, he buts in)
popeye: no, don't apologize. there's nothing wrong about doing social work.
afterthought: hellurh! i'm not apologizing. i was trying to respond to your question!

and here's the clincher...
popeye: where did you graduate from? up or ateneo?
me: sir, la salle.
popeye: ss... (does a hand gesture like shunning me off)
afterthought: hellurh! like up and ateneo are the only "schools." oh i was itching to let him know that more than half of the block graduated from la salle. hehe!
obviously, he had a great time grilling me with his questions. oh well... may araw din yun! hehe! Ü

danes, popeye kasi para syang si popeye na nakakain ng spinach lalo na pag nakasuot sya ng baby tee (na orange... bwahaha!). grabe noh, parang sasabog na yung mga damit nya. isang flex na lang, mari-rip off na yung sleeves ng shirt nya. wahaha!
Ah kapal...tsk..tsk..dbale may araw rin yan..and remember more Ateneo's are employed...but more La Sallians are CEO and business owners...haha...kung bago, alalay lang cla..(oh my..mag start b ng gulo?) haha... - lauie!
